Analysis of occupational health and safety at a maritime warehouse using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC)

This study aims to identify and determine risks using the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Control (HIRARC) method. By conducting prior monitoring interviewing workers find out impacts experienced by workers. Making a HIRARC table assessing each aspect of hazards, work controls that have been carried classifying based on 5 hierarchies. Data processing is conducted analyzing potential hazards with identified 12 at Gandasari Energy. The findings can be risk hierarchy where there are control efforts, including elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative personal protective equipment. Of many still do not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). importance PPE minimize occurrence accidents.
